SEI Chapter of the Year Award is given to recognize a local professional SEI Chapter for its exemplary activities and efforts to advance the structural engineering profession.

Rules
- Local professional SEI Chapters are eligible for the SEI Chapter of the Year Award.
- SEI Chapters with SEI Local Activities Division (LAD) Executive Committee members are not eligible for the award as the LAD Excom is the selection committee.
- Nomination is via the annual SEI LAD activity summary.
Nominations
To nominate, submit the following:
- A cover letter, signed by the nominator
- An Official Award Nomination form (PDF)
- The nominee's CV or biographical information
- 2 or 3 letters of recommendation (max)
