Raymond Samuel Sciortino, P.E., ENV SP, F.ASCE, a civil engineer with Jacobs and president of ASCE’s Palm Beach Branch, in Florida, has been named a fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.
Sciortino has made many contributions over the past 14 years toward the advancement of Everglades restoration and the improvement of water management in South Florida. He has done this by serving as a civil engineer and project manager on various project teams responsible for the planning, design, and construction of numerous environmental restoration and water management projects throughout South Florida, undertaken in partnership between the South Florida Water Management District and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
