Interested in becoming a Collegiate New Face?

Honorees each receive a $100 scholarship, while the top student is awarded a $1,000 scholarship. They're featured in school media, local news, and ASCE media outlets.

You'll need:

  • A great story!
  • Undergrad enrollment (3rd, 4th, or 5th year) in an engineering program from an ABET accredited US college or university or equivalent international institution.
  • 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • ASCE membership (free for students).
  • Demonstrable academic excellence, community service work, organizational leadership, communication skills, and industry involvement.

Interested in becoming a Professional New Face?

Honorees each receive recognition at ASCE’s OPAL Gala, articles in the Civil Engineering Source; hometown, local and national media outlets.

You'll need:

  • A great story!
  • 30 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2022.
  • Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited U.S. college or university, or from an equivalent international educational institution.
  • ASCE membership.
  • Demonstrable community service work, organizational leadership, communication skills, and industry involvement.
